Use a root lifter to help give you more volume and support at the roots. Spray it directly into the roots and then rub it in.

Apply a curl defining cream to help moisturize the curls. They will become more defined and softer. When applying the cream make sure to put the product in your palm rub a little onto the finger tips and then use your fingers to work it through your hair. This will ensure that you distribute the product evenly.

Use a softball size of mouse

First flip your head over then apply the first two handfuls of mouse directly into the roots for support. Then with your head still flipped over and make sure to separate the bottom first and work mouse through that section and then proceed to the front in sections. This will help distribute the mouse evenly.

Then Proceed with the blow dryer on low with out the diffuser. As you are flipped over direct the blow dryer to the roots while using your fingers to pull the hair out from the scalp to get the hair to dry with more volume.

After it has dried slightly, put the diffuser on and blow the air in the same direction the hair is going. Going the opposite way will blow out little hair creating more frizziness.

After the hair is mostly dry, still with your head flipped over spray some hair spray directly in the roots for extra support. Then flip your head over and gently place the curls where you would like them.
